Dr. Viktor Schlegel is a Senior Research Fellow at Imperial Global Singapore, Imperial College London, where he serves as Deputy Director of the IN-CYPHER research programme. This initiative focuses on protecting medical devices against cybersecurity threats, with his research specifically addressing algorithms for security and privacy in healthcare data sharing.
He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, specializing in Natural Language Processing, and was supervised by Dr Riza Batista-Navarro. Prior to his current role, Viktor was an AI Researcher at ASUS developing clinical coding and automated medical documentation solutions, and served as a Lecturer at the University of Manchester.
